Terms of Sale
The following terms and conditions apply to all purchases made on the patioheaters4u.com web site. Please read them carefully, you may wish to print a copy for future reference. All prices quoted are for new products; prices are in pounds sterling and include all taxes at current rates. Delivery on patio heaters and spares will be charged separately to any mainland UK address. Other charges apply to addresses outside the UK.
In the unlikely event of a price change after you have placed your order you will be contacted by one of our sales advisors and informed of the new price before the order is processed. You will then be given the opportunity of either carrying on with the purchase or cancelling the order.
Payments are accepted on most major credit or debit cards via our secure server. All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch. Cheque's made payable to Urban Industry Ltd. can also be accepted, please allow for cheque clearance prior to the release of the goods. We can accept no responsibility if any details you provide us with are incorrect or if any order is held up as a result of incorrect details.
All goods are supplied with a full invoice giving a description of the goods purchased and the price paid including VAT.
Delivery on bulk items is made via our appointed secure courier, a signature will be required, small spares are posted via Royal Mail. Delivery of stock items will normally be made within the delivery time chosen (excludes Bank Holidays and warehouse closure/stocktaking dates). However, if your order is for an out-of-stock item, we will advise on expected delivery date and ask for confirmation. We shall not be liable to you for any failure or delay in performance of our contract if it is due to an event beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, war, industrial dispute, fire, flood, tempest or national emergencies. If so delayed we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for performing such obligations. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are only approximate and we shall not be liable for any losses, damages, charges, costs or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
Our carriers are not authorised to leave goods unsigned, should the courier arrive and fail to obtain a signature they will leave a card with instructions to re-book. Once a card has been left the courier company hold goods for 7 days before returning to sender. The courier company will have completed the obligation to deliver. Orders placed after 3.30pm will be processed the following working day (Monday to Friday).
Goods damaged on delivery should be either signed "damaged" with the courier or notified to Urban Industry Ltd within 3 days of delivery. Late claims for damages are rejected by the courier under their damages policy the customer must provide proof of damage as soon possible.
If payment by Credit/Debit Card delivery will be the card holder address only. If delivery is required to another address payment can be accepted by cheque, please allow for cheque clearance. For more information regarding delivery read Urban customer charter.

Delivery charge options to mainland UK addresses on orders for patio heaters (excludes spare parts) placed before 3.30pm:
• Standard Next Working Day to UK address £5.95
• Saturday am to standard (excludes highlands/islands) UK address £25.00
• Northern Ireland £9.99 - excludes free supa saver discount
• Southern Ireland £12.75 - excludes free supa saver discount
• Scottish highlands £9.95 - excludes free supa saver discount, (no weekend deliveries), post codes: G83, G84, IV2, IV3, 1V5 to IV28, IV40, IV42 to IV54, IV63, KW1 to KW14, PA21 to PA38, PH17 to PH50.
• Scottish Islands Hebrides/Shetland and Orkney Isles £17.50 - excludes free supa saver discount, (no weekend deliveries), post codes: HS1 to HS9, IV41 to IV51, IV55, IV56, KA27, KA28, KW15 to KW17, PH41 to PH44, ZE1 to ZE9.
• Channel Isles & Isle of Man are charged at £24.85 per patio heater.

* Please note Supa Saver only applies to standard UK addresses and excludes highlands and islands, Northern Ireland, I.O.M, and Channel Islands. Online orders incorrectly placed will be notified of the surcharge once the order has been received.
Next day schedule and Saturday am is not available to highlands/islands, because of the distance involved you may experience a short delay in delivery.
Orders placed after 3.30pm Thursday will be dispatched on Monday.
Please note couriers and Royal Mail are closed over Bank Holidays, order placed are delivered the next working day.
Patio Heater Spares & Accessories Delivery Charges:
Patio heater accessories and spare parts are shipped via City Link/UPS for bulk item and small items via The Post Office, Monday to Friday on standard UK service. The discounted web rate on patio heater spares will include postage, packaging and delivery charge within the cost, please see item page for latest information on delivery cost, the invoice will detail the cost of goods and cost of shipping.
Patio Heater Spares & Accessories Web Discount Rates:
Patio heater spare parts placed online are discounted at £2.50 per item, the price shown online is the discounted price. For spare parts telephoned in the discounted web rate does not apply, please add £2.50 per item to calculate the final amount charged. Customers phoning to place an order will be advised of the web discount rate before placing a telephone order.
Patio Heater Spares - EC and USA Non EC Deliveries:
Orders for small items of spare parts shipped to USA or EC can be place via the web. Patio heaters orders or large bulky items for USA, EC and export cannot be accepted via the web site, delivery charges for bulky items start at £47.50, please e-mail export[at]urbind.co.uk with order details for a delivery quote.
Gas LPG Deliveries:
Gas is shipped direct to UK addresses only via the LPG supply company Monday to Friday on standard UK service and inclusive of delivery. LPG cannot be shipped outside the UK.
Cylinder deposits are subject to standard national LPG gas tariff return scales:
70% refundable within Year 1
60% refundable within Year 2
50% refundable within Year 3
45% refundable within Year 4
40% refundable within Year 5
0% refundable after Year 5
In addition to your statutory rights should the order not be required the 15 day money back guarantee will refund the cost of the goods. To qualify product must be in original packaging, unused and returned to warehouse in good condition within 15 days of invoice.

for gift purchases. PatioHeaters4U will shrink wrap using a black wrap to obscure all markings. Please note if payment is by Credit/Debit Card delivery is only authorised to the card holder’s address – see above.

Customer Cancellation rights:
In accordance with the distance selling regulation you have the right to cancel the order within seven days from receiving the goods. If you wish to cancel you must notify us in writing or e-mail of your intention to do so at which time the purchase price and the postage costs will be refunded to you within 30 days. You will however be responsible for the costs of delivery back to us, whether this is arrangements you make with a suitable carrier, or whether you ask us to collect. You should enquire of us what the cost will be should you require us to collect the goods, you have an obligation to keep any goods in good condition until such time as they are returned to us. If you use a carrier of your own choice you are advised to take out suitable insurance, since we are not liable for damage to the goods during transportation back to us. Following the seven day cooling off period goods not required, unused and returned in good condition will be refunded less any carriage costs.

Using industry standard SSL, Thawte and WorldPay's unique encryption systems we have a dedicated team devoted to keeping the patioheaters4u.com web site secure. Instead of sending all of your details straight away the WorldPay server initially sets up a secure link between your (the shopper) browser and the WorldPay server. An encryption code is then requested by the WorldPay server and will not upload until it receives the right answer. Your order is then wrapped up and secured before it leaves your browser.

Advertising and Typographical Errors:
All items featured on the web site are for new stock, unless otherwise stated. The description and features outlined are as provided by PatioHeaters4U. While every care is taken to faithfully reproduce all such descriptions, errors may occur. If you are in any doubt about the item you wish to purchase we recommend you contact one of our sales advisors to discuss the product in more detail. In the event of a product that is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If we have already charged you for the order we will subsequently cancel your order and immediately issue a refund to your account.
Availability of Goods:
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at anytime. Acceptance of the order is once the order has been processed, an invoice raised and goods dispatched. If for any reason the goods ordered are not available you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. We will not be held responsible for compensating any losses you may suffer if we are unable to supply the goods.
Commercial grade patio heaters are fully guaranteed for 24 months from date of purchase. Discounted or patio heaters purchased at discounted rates (including commercial grade) are fully guaranteed for 12 months from date of purchase. Domestic patio heaters also carry a 24 month guarantee on the condition the use is restricted to a domestic setting, for heavy use within a commercial setting the warranty is 6 months from date of invoice. Goods supplied must be assembled and maintained in accordance with the instructions supplied, warranty excludes consumable items. All goods sold comply with all applicable legislation and customers are reminded that these terms and conditions do not affect statutory rights.
Patio Heater Repair and Service:
To maintain patio heaters in tip top condition some maintenance is necessary. Consumable items carry a one year fair use warranty and will need replacing at regular intervals. BFX burners can be returned for service and repair to the address below, to view details please read patio heater repairs.
