This thermocouple will fit BFX770 patio heater and pre 2008 BFX760 in all types and finishes. Not compatible with domestic patio heaters BFX750 in all types - please see thermocouple AFX485 for details. For the majority of generic patio heaters with Chinese manufacturer label please refer to AFX485 thermocouples.
All branded BFX patio heater thermocouples across all model types are situated to the left of the ignitor spark (silver tip) within the burner flame screen and are connected to the rear of the gas control valve. Thermocouples are a consumable item and will need replacing every few years depending on how often they are used and stored. Please check and double check the measurements are correct for your type of heater, specifically the size of gas control thread - this thermocouple part will fit a 10mm type only. Thermocouples ordered in error and returned are subject to an inspection safety test.
