Our Terms and Conditions
Terms of Sale:
The following terms and conditions apply to all purchases made on the patioheaters4u.com
web site. Please read them carefully, you may wish to print a copy for future
reference.
All prices quoted are for new products; prices are in pounds sterling and include all taxes at current rates. Delivery on Patio Heaters will be charged separately to any mainland UK address.
In the unlikely event of a price change after you have placed your order you will be contacted by one of our sales advisors and informed of the new price before the order is processed. You will then be given the opportunity of either carrying on with the purchase or cancelling the order.
Payments:
Payments are accepted on most major credit or debit cards via our secure server.
All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch. Cheque's
made payable to Urban Industry Ltd. can also be accepted, please allow for
cheque clearance prior to the release of the goods. We can accept no responsibility
if any details you provide us with are incorrect or if any order is held
up as a result of incorrect details.
Your Invoice:
All goods are supplied with a full invoice giving a description of the goods
purchased and the price paid including VAT.
Delivery Charges:
Delivery is made via our appointed secure courier, a signature will be required.
Delivery of stock items will normally be made within 1 to 2 working days from
the clearance of payment. However, if your order is for an out-of-stock item,
we will advise on expected delivery date and ask for confirmation. We shall
not be liable to you for any failure or delay in performance of our contract
if it is due to an event beyond our reasonable control including, without
limitation, acts of God, war, industrial dispute, fire, flood, tempest or
national emergencies. If so delayed we shall be entitled to a reasonable
extension of time for performing such obligations. Any dates we specify for
the delivery of the goods are only approximate and we shall not be liable
for any losses, damages, charges, costs or expenses caused by any delay for
delivery of the goods.
Delivery charges to UK addresses on orders for patio heaters placed Monday to Thursday before 3.00pm:
Standard 1 to 2 day £9.75 (95% delivered next working day)
Next day £14.50,
Next day before noon £19.50,
Next day before 10am £25.00
Saturday delivery £19.75 - please note Sat delivery must be booked by Thurs 2pm to give sufficient transit time - bookings made on a Friday will be accepted but only at customer's risk.
Accessories and spare parts are shipped via DHL or The Post Office, Mon to Fri on standard UK service and inclusive of delivery. Gas is shipped direct Mon to Fri on standard UK service and inclusive of delivery. For more information on delivery read delivery policy.
Our carriers are not authorised to leave goods unsigned, should the courier arrive and fail to obtain a signature they will leave a card with instructions to rebook. Once a card has been left the courier company hold goods for 7 days before returning to sender. The courier company will have completed the obligation to deliver. Goods returned will be subject to a £25.00 re-stock fee. For special delivery instructions please refer to the above options. Orders placed after 3.00pm will be processed the following working day (Mon to Fri). Please note all deliveries include free insurance.
Goods damaged on delivery should be either signed "damaged" with courier or notified to Urban Industry Ltd within 3 days of delivery.
If payment by Credit/Debit Card delivery will be the card holder address only. If delivery is required to another address payment can be accepted by cheque, please allow for cheque clearance.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isle of Scilly, Scottish Isles, Inner and Outer Hebrides, Shetland and Orkney Isles are charged at the same rate, because of the distance involved you may experience a delay in delivery.

Patio heaters orders for EC and export cannot be accepted via the web site, deliveries start at £30.00, please email export@urbind.co.uk with full details for a quote.
Gas Deposit
Cylinder deposits are subject to standard national gas tariff return scales:
50% refundable within Year 1
30% refundable within Year 2
20% refundable within Year 3
0% refundable after Year 3
Money-Back Guarantee
Should the order not be required the 15 day money back guarantee will refund the cost of the goods. To qualify product must be in original packaging, unused and returned to warehouse in good condition within 15 days of invoice. Collection can be arranged with rates starting from £14.50 per item.
Gift Wrap:
Please indicate in your order if the purchase is a gift. Patioheaters4u will
shrink wrap using a black wrap to obscure all markings. Please note if payment
is by Credit/Debit Card delivery is only authorised to the card holder’s
address – see above.

Customer Cancellation rights:
Patioheaters4u.com will refund any monies paid for faulty/unwanted goods less
the cost of carriage for a 7 day period (starting the day following receipt
of goods).
All monies less the cost of carriage will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation. This is in compliance with the Distance Selling Regulations.

Security:
Using industry standard SSL, Thawte and WordPay's unique encryption systems
we have a dedicated team devoted to keeping the patioheaters4u.com web site
secure. Instead of sending all of your details straight away the WorldPay
server initially sets up a secure link between your (the shopper) browser
and the WorldPay server. An encryption code is then requested by the WorldPay
server and will not upload until it receives the right answer. Your order
is then wrapped up and secured before it leaves your browser.

Advertising and Typographical Errors:
All items featured on the web site are for new stock, unless otherwise stated.
The description and features outlined are as provided by patioheater4u.com.
While every care is taken to faithfully reproduce all such descriptions,
errors may occur. If you are in any doubt about the item you wish to purchase
we recommend you contact one of our sales advisors to discuss the product
in more detail. In the event of a product that is listed at an incorrect
price due to typographical error, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel
any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been
confirmed. If we have already charged you for the order we will subsequently
cancel your order and immediately issue a refund to your account.
Availability of Goods:
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn
at anytime. If for any reason the goods ordered are not available you will
be offered an alternative or given a full refund. We will not be held responsible
for compensating any losses you may suffer if we are unable to supply
the goods.
Guarantee:
Commercial grade patio heaters are fully guaranteed for 12 months from date of purchase. Domestic patio heaters carry a 12 month guarantee on the condition the use is restricted to a domestic setting, for heavy use within a commercial setting the warranty is 3 months from date of invoice. All goods
sold comply with all applicable legislation and customers are reminded that
these terms and conditions do not affect statutory rights.
